I had a lovely stay at Riad Salma. The location was perfect, close to the Medina and the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, which made exploring so easy. While my room was charming and authentic, the bathroom could use some improvements (a mirror would have been nice!). Overall, the friendly staff and delicious breakfast made my experience nice.

My Twin Room was situated around the beautiful central courtyard, though the bathroom was quite basic with only a small sink and no mirror.
Service

The service was excellent! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Steeven, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay.

Being in the heart of the Medina was a huge plus. I could easily walk to the souks and vibrant local attractions.

Breakfast was the highlight—everything was freshly made, and I especially loved the delicious mint tea and local orange juice.

The amenities were decent, with room service and housekeeping ensuring my stay was comfortable, but some additional facilities could enhance the experience.

I had a lovely stay at Riad Salma Restaurant Spa, but there were a few downsides. The room I booked was not what I received, as I got a smaller standard double room instead of the advertised triple room. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly and the location was ideal, making it easy to explore the city.

Rooms

I booked a triple bedroom but ended up with a cramped double room instead, which wasn't very appealing. The small space made it feel uncomfortable during my four-night stay.
Service

The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful throughout my stay (they always greeted me with a smile and offered assistance when needed).

The riad is perfectly located, close to the Medina and just a short walk from everything important in the city. It made exploring Marrakesh so convenient!

Breakfast was good (I particularly loved the mint tea), although I didn't try dinner this time. Everything was fresh and served with a lovely touch.

The Riad had a small pool perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, but it could benefit from more amenities like additional charging outlets in the room.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Riad Salma. The advantages were the friendly staff and the great location, close to the bustling medina. however, some aspects, like the lack of signage for the riad and uncomfortable pillows, detracted from my overall satisfaction.

I stayed in a Comfort Double Room, which had a quiet atmosphere despite being on a busy street. the bathroom was a bit small, but my husband's and daughter's room had a massive king-size bed and a spacious bathroom. However, the pillows were quite hard, which left me with a stiff neck by the end of my stay.
Service
9.0
The hospitality was a highlight. the staff were friendly and eager to help with bookings or directions, even allowing us to store our food in their fridge when we brought breakfast from outside. Steeven and the team were particularly impressive with their support.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect for exploring the medina. it was on the outskirts of the busy area, which made it a good base for diving into the hustle and bustle, and right in front of Le Jardins Du Lotus, a fancy restaurant.
Dining

Breakfast was simple but fresh, with Moroccan breads made in-house. there was a lovely surprise of mint tea and freshly baked breads after swimming, making the dining experience quite enjoyable.

I appreciated the plunge pool, great for cooling down after exploring the city. the rooftop terrace provided a quiet escape at night, despite the absence of a fridge in the room.

I had a lovely stay at Riad Salma, but it wasn't perfect. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the medina, and the atmosphere was beautifully authentic. However, the room had a damp smell and the bed was way too hard for my liking. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Rooms

The room was clean, but had an overwhelming damp smell and the bed felt like a rock. There were some repairs needed, like the bathroom door not closing and some mould in the shower. The lack of proper windows was a bit of a downside too.
Service

The staff were super friendly and helpful, giving it a solid 10 out of 10 for hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay.

The location couldn't be better - just a 5-minute walk to the medina. It's perfect for exploring the heart of the city.

Breakfast and the evening meal were amazing. The rooftop dining area was lovely, and the food was definitely a highlight of my stay.
Facilities

The riad had a beautiful pool and plenty of communal areas, but it might benefit from some better ventilation in the bathrooms.

My experience at Riad Salma was quite mixed. While the location felt safe and was close to many attractions, the room I stayed in was not up to expectations. The staff's attentive service and the lovely rooftop breakfast were definite highlights, but I encountered serious issues with cleanliness and maintenance that affected my overall stay.

Rooms

The Superior Double Room I was in had serious cleanliness issues. The floor was thick with dirt and the broken heater created a noisy atmosphere. I honestly felt uncomfortable in such a dingy space.
Service
8.0
Despite my room's faults, the staff was incredibly attentive. They went out of their way to assist with tours and other requests, which made me feel valued.
Location

Being in the heart of the Medina was great. It was easy to walk to everything and felt safe even in the evenings, making it a prime spot for exploring Marrakesh.
Dining

Breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious. The meals were filling and the views were stunning, a perfect way to start the day.
Facilities

I appreciated the room service and help with excursions. However, the cleanliness of my room was such a letdown that it overshadowed the facilities.
